Friday Morning
Jun. 5th, 2009 06:52 amTime to drive to work.
We have been doing pretty good at not buying anything this week. The stupid car insurance went up, even though neither of us got in an accident or made any claims, and it's connected to the homeowner's insurance, and we both got older, more responsible, etc. They (Travelers) claimed that rates went up all over the state and there was nothing we could do.
So now we have to shop for new car insurance. Ugh. I think I might try the independent agent route because it is such a pain to do it myself. I don't care if their website is crappy as long as they can do good stuff with insurance.
The dogs are really keyed up this morning. We have been staying inside because it has been raining this week. I think they have lots of extra energy. Tomorrow, if it is still raining, we might go for a hike in the mud.
I have been working on the world's slowest reupholstery job in the living room. Last night I finished one of the small pillows, recovered with $.25 remaindered tan fabric. The couches are sort of pink/teal tropical colored, and I am trying to make them more brown/tan. I am leaning towards the color of all the dog fur in the house combined (black white and orange). Dark tan-ish.
I am so tired.
