Today is Alice's last day as a girl. Tomorrow she goes to the vet to become an it. :(
The computer is fixed now, the onboard video had self-immolated so the dude who is fixing it overnighted a new video card and we can pick it up tonight. The computer is still under warranty but we would have had to pay for fedexing it to Texas and back, and it would have taken a month or more. I think this was a much better option.
Last night I got one of those migraines where you can't see and any sound or light or movement or change in air pressure or existence of living beings including yourself cause extreme nausea and pain.
The morning radio traffic guy just announced a crash on the road I have to drive on this morning. UGH. Yesterday there was a crash where the guy hit the median, spun around across 5 lanes, and hit the other side of the beltway. When I passed the car, they were removing him with the jaws of life. Two days before that there was an SUV that ran over a motorcyclist. The day before that there was an 18-wheeler that merged into the side of a sedan. Very sad that people got hurt, but maybe they shouldn't drive so fast in the first place? All of these things are trashing my gas mileage so I look really bad on Fuelly.
