Things I Made

I do not think I put up pictures of any of these things yet.

I made this cross stitch to enter in the state fair - they had a sign up at the last state fair that there was a contest at the 2010 state fair for a cross stitch that best represented the letter P.
Of course, I can only enter this if I get it framed. And remember to enter in time. We will see. My goal is to get it in there and have my picture taken with it hanging on the wall and have no one insult it too badly. This was the first time that I have ever done french knots.

I made this quilt for my sister for christmas. It is a little bit wrinkled because I am not good at sewing in a straight line. She requested a quilt 4 years ago and I bought all this fabric and the pattern then but I did not make it until this year because I am not good at long term planning. (Or short term planning.)
My goal was that she would like it. (She did.)
I am sad that I did not have a hamster to include for scale in these pictures. It is about as tall as me, and throw sized.

The fabric on the back was intentionally pre wrinkled, which I got to match the front, which was unintentionally wrinkled.

I made this cross stitch in January, after I had the car accident. (on New Year's Eve) Every time I would start to freak out about the car accident I worked on this instead. This is the fastest I have ever finished something. It is about 8x10. I have mostly stopped freaking out about the car accident but not totally.

I started another cross stitch which uses a bunch of different techniques and stitches that I have never done before and it is REALLY HARD.

I am also making a throw for the couch in the living room that is the colors I would like the living room to be, but it doesn't match the current living room too well. It will be kind of square because I screwed up cutting some fabric. I am doing it in my usual pattern, where you can't tell if I screw up on the straight lines.
